| Four artists explore the cyclical effect of urban sprawl, then decline & the subsequent reclamation by nature. Abandoned, once strong, solid buildings & cars slowly deteriorate with the help of nature's forces. The delicate vine crawls over concrete and rusty cars and eventually completely takes over. Nature has triumphed once again.
Artists are: Vlad Bubnov, photography; Ross W. Ramsdell, tempera/gouache; Peter Paul Kawagaelg Williams, acrylic/ink & Julie Shine Webster, ceramics |
