One-on-One Sessions
Perfect for those who don't have the time for a full 6 week workshop. No prior experience is required.1 1/2 hour sessions with an instructor who will teach basic to advanced techniques in wheel throwing, hand building, surface decoration, mold making, casting, etc. Adult students have access to studio to complete their project and may sit in on demonstrations for other classes between scheduled one-on-one sessions. $30 per person per session + $5 class materials Children, adults and those with special needs may register for these session, once weekly, bi-weekly or as one's schedule permits. 6 Week Adult Ceramic Workshops April 21st - May 26th - Day Classes - Wednesdays, 11:00 am - 1:30 pm Workshops classes are designed to help those beginner through advanced develop and build skills in the ceramic arts. Hand building, mold making, wheel throwing, slip casting, surface decoration and glaze formulation demonstrations will be given at the beginning of each session, based upon student interests and skill level. Workshop classes will also focus on developing the personal style and vision of each artist, with an emphasis on conceptual and technical development. Classes meet once a week, students have open use of the studio the other days if they wish $150 tuition + $30 class materials Open Studio $15.00 per person, per visit includes clay & tools. Independent Study 20" x 48" shelf, storage space - $30.00/month 48" x48" table storage space - $50.00/month New Independent Ceramic Student Must:
